A: As per your cleaning service plan, we will visit your premises on an allocated day.

Q: Do you operate all year-round?

A: Yes, SanClean can wash your wheelie bins all year round.

Q: How do I know my bins have been cleaned?

A: Your bins will be clean, smell nice and be returned to their original position.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription plan?

Q: What if I want to cancel after a few tries after signing up for a subscription plan?

A: You can cancel at any time once you have paid your account balance. If you are moving address and have prepaid for the year, we will transfer any credit to your new property or refund you.

Q: Do I have to sign-up for a plan/subscription? It appears I’m signing a contract. Am I locked into the plan?

A: First off, you are not locked into any plan or contract. The subscription plans were created to offer you discounts for advanced payment. We will contact you when your account needs topping up but don’t worry, we will continue your service until you contact us to cancel.

Q:  How do I pay you?

A: SanClean offers a variety of payment methods. You can pay by direct debit, standing order, online transfer or credit / debit card through our website via Paylink. If you pay in advance for your service then the applicable discounts will be applied.

Q:  Why get my bins cleaned?

A: Dirty bins are a breeding ground for bacteria such as Salmonella, E Coli, and Listeria. These types of bacteria and many more actually begin to grow within hours of discarding leftover food. These are some of the same bacteria that can cause food poisoning!

Whilst all residential bins are fitted with a plastic liner (Black-General Waste) / Clear-Recycling) often is the case that bags are torn and food waste deposits in the bottom of the bin and left!

Accessing the bins by waste collectors, residents and even passers by depositing dog waste also leaves invisible germs on the handles which can soon be spread throughout your household and community in the form of bacteria and viruses!

As a measure to prevent further spread of germs / viruses & unwanted smells the cleaning & sanitizing of bins is highly recommended.

Q: How does the service work?

A: Once an order is placed our trained staff will visit your premises and carry out the comprehensive wash and sanitizing service.  On completion of the wash cycle a disinfectant will be applied to all surfaces on the Wheelie Bin using an electro-static sprayer, and for the final stage a deodorizing enzyme agent will be sprayed at the bottom of the Wheelie Bin.
